Over the years, Muddy Dog Lanyards have proven to be tougher than expected. I have heard many stories of how our lanyards have been mistreated. Stories about how our lanyards have been used as tow rope for a boat in shallow water, and how they have been beaten, pulled, twisted, and ran through the mud. In every story the ending has been unanimous about how indestructible these lanyards are!

This is what we hope for all of our lanyards! Not only are they tough, but they are versatile. Our standard lanyards hold 5 calls, each with a loop for the insert and the barrel. The drops can be adjusted to fit you to keep your calls where they should be - against your body and not banging into each other!

Each lanyard is custom braided to suit your specific needs, so tell us what you want! Do you want it longer, shorter? How many drops do you want? One? Seven? We won’t go over seven, though, the lanyard gets way too heavy! We can even tie a whistle drop around the lanyard, so you can put it anywhere it serves you best.

We offer extra drops, as well, so you don’t have to have a blind bag full of lanyards. Have your goose calls on your lanyard in the morning and then change your drops to hunt ducks in the afternoon! No need to take your calls off the drops, take the drops off the lanyard! And, yes it works.

As you can see, our lanyards are tough, versatile and custom. They are made one at a time by the Muddy Dog Crew and sometimes it takes a while to get it right. That’s what we’re all about – doing it right! We won’t send something out that we wouldn’t use in our own hunts. Real hunters braiding lanyards for real hunters…That’s the Muddy Dog way!
